I know how it feels to lose yourself in the whirlwind of expat life. You’re navigating new countries, supporting your partner’s career, and holding your family together—but somewhere along the way, you feel like you’ve disappeared. Over the past 23 years, I’ve lived in 9 countries across 4 continents as a diplomatic spouse.
I’ve faced the exhausting cycle of packing up, starting over, and putting everyone else’s needs ahead of my own. I’ve experienced the isolation, the identity struggles, and the overwhelming task of building a life from scratch every time we moved.
But through these challenges, I discovered my strength, reclaimed my purpose, and found a way to thrive. Along the way, I developed tools, strategies, and a framework to help other spouses do the same—because I believe every trailing spouse deserves more than just surviving.
